- Distance between support beams 30cm centre to centre
- Attach the clips at the same height to both sides of deck board
- Premium Composite decking may shrink or expand by 5% in length and width
- You should therefore always keep at least 0.5cm (= ruler gauge) distance between the deck boards
- If the boards are laid head-on, the space must be at least 2cm
- You should ensure there is a pitch of at least 2%, or 2cm per metre
